YOUR CHILD'S FILE
State law requires us to have updated shot records, and we must have current enrollment records for each child. Please inform us immediately of any changes in your address, phone numbers, place of employment and emergency contact information. We also need to be informed of any information that may affect the care of your child. All information is kept confidential and will not be released without your written permission. Updated records are crucial.

CHILD RELEASE POLICY: BE SURE TO SIGN IN & SIGN OUT
UNDER NO CIRCUMSTANCES will a child be released to anyone other than the individuals named on the Child Pickup Authorization Form. Children will only be discharged to persons other than their parents with written authorization. Anyone picking up children must be asked to show ID.

GUIDANCE POLICY
The technique of age appropriate “timeout” will be used to manage a child's behavior. If the child becomes abusive or poses a danger to self or children, Bright Beginnings reserves the right to require immediate pickup and / or terminate this agreement in the interest of safety.

IMMUNIZATIONS
Every child attending the Bright Beginnings Day Care MUST be current on their immunizations. Please fill out the immunization form and give us a copy of your child's shot records prior to first attending Bright Beginnings Day Care. If your child receives new shots, please inform the Day Care Provider so that your file can be updated. Current Immunization records are required by the State of California’s Board of Health, and our certification with the state depends on our records being up-to-date. Failure to keep your immunization records up-to-date will result in suspension of your child from the Day Care program until necessary immunizations are received. Updated records are crucial to our providing good care to your child.

CLOTHING
Since children will be children, we understand that there may be some accidents.  Please bring extra clothing that may remain here, clearly marked with your child's name, for those times. 

TOYS
Guns, knives, swords, and other toys that could hurt another child are NEVER allowed! If they are brought to the Day Care they will be taken away secured and retuned to the parent when the child goes home. Please keep these and all other personal toys at home. We will provide a variety of toys for your children to play with while in Day Care.

DAILY NAPS/REST TIMES
All children will be required to rest during nap time.  All required bedding will be provided and state health guidelines will be followed.

SMOKE-FREE ENVIRONMENT
ABSOLUTELY NO SMOKING OR TOBACCO PRODUCTS WILL BE PERMITTED IN OR ON THE GROUNDS OF Bright Beginnings Day Care. If you use these products, please be sure that you leave them in your vehicle. We thank you for your cooperation.
